Sooo...it's coming on summertime for many of us. I know the heat has totally landed here, lol! What summer plans do you have? |

we dont do a whole lot in the summer because of how hot it gets here. I dont deal to well with the heat. |

So..just returning from a little getaway with the family back "home" to the Chicago area. It was soooo nice to spend lots of quality time with the whole family. The best part was visiting with my grandfather and seeing Bugga with her cousins (my nephews). As for summer travels that's all we have planned...mostly we will be spending time enjoying a "staycation". It is ridiculously hot here so mostly I envision us spending time indoors. LOL!! So Jessica you are sooo not alone in that. It really can get icky, no? I loathe heat and humidity. Thankfully we don't have the humidity here, but the heat...YUCK. |

Well our summer plans were supposed to include swimming lessons for two weeks starting on the 18th, but I'm not sure that will happen now (with the flooding). So...I'm not sure. We'll be doing the whole "staycation" thing. Mini-trips here and there. My bestie is coming to stay with us for almost 2 weeks, starting on the 17th (so I may be a wee bit MIA).

well we will make a few trips to the library and to the dollar theater. We do plan on heading to the beach before summer break is over as well. It does get really hot and humid here though. We do so much more in the winter time & spring time. |

We just found out that the bowling alley here on base has .50 bowling on the weekends...and Bugga is apparently a big fan of the bowling. So yay!! Will make for a fun something to do together this summer! And I have a feeling we'll be visiting the splash pad A LOT. lol! |
